Sophie is a young Belgian graphic designer whose graphic universe enriches this blog. She is the author of the kanji graphics that form Wanihondou but not only. Inspired by the images of Japan, she created new ones, other kanji, but also elements of Japanese culture. This work of great beauty is reminiscent of some graphic elements of mangas and seems to be located halfway between the Western and Japanese cultures.
Sophie’s drawings are presented here and will be integrated into Wanihondou as it develops. These are original works that belong to him both in design and realization. They are of a fine and elegant simplicity that is not devoid of humor; they are for me of a great harmony with my own work.
